Preparing Slab on Grade

Having finished all the building footings as well as the lower level walls and columns, we are now getting ready to prepare the site for the slab-on-grade.

In the coming days, we’ll be receiving and installing rebar throughout the site. We expect the first delivery on Friday, May 14th. Our crane will be hoisting the material both from within the site as well as from Vereda (when it is necessary to do so). Crews will be on hand to immediate place the rebar.

Our schedule currently calls for pouring the concrete slab for the lower level on Tuesday, May 18th. We anticipate this will be a fairly busy day, as it will be one of our larger pour dates. The concrete pump will be out on Vereda.

Once the slab is poured, we will immediately begin preparing the decking to install the next level.
