Framing: Part Two

The framing is nearly complete. Almost all of the structural panels have been installed, and the building is now topped off. There are still a few dozen remaining panels that will be placed in the coming weeks, along with some minor interior framing. All structural panels have been delivered, so we are working with the existing inventory.

Our crews are now running mechanical ducts, electrical wiring, and plumbing through the building and into all the units. In addition, we are starting to erect scaffolding so that windows and doors can be installed—along with stucco and architectural sidings. (These activities are not scheduled to commence until after the holidays.) Subsequently, the next steps will be to get the structure water tight so that drywall can be hung. Preliminary drywall is being delivered to the building incrementally.
